Program Manager, Residential Treatment


Exceptional opportunity to participate in the housing continuum of care and support the County’s 10-year plan to end homelessness. Management of two unique facilities, duties including: planning/development, oversight of staff supervisors, quality assurance and fiscal management.  Requirements: WA State Licensure, BA (MA preferred) and 3 years management experience.

The El Rey is a licensed 60-bed program that serves homeless persons with severe and persistent mental illness. Located in the Belltown section of Seattle, El Rey has been a National HUD award winner. Cascade Hall is a 64-bed facility providing intensive rehabilitation, hospital diversion, and DD/MH crisis care, located in North Seattle.

CPC’s 24-hour staffed residential facilities provide a safe, stable environment in which chronically mentally ill adults can achieve personal goals and improved quality of life. Highly trained staff offer 24-hour supervision and care, opportunities to develop interpersonal, social, and daily living skills, symptom and medication management, pre-vocational skill building, and vocational training. When individuals are ready, we help them work toward achieving more independent living situations.

Required skills include ability to maintain good rapport with staff members and provide supervision, direction and support to department team; a thorough knowledge of chronic mental illness and residential service delivery; and demonstrated ability to work effectively with the medical model and DSM diagnostics.


Job Requirements

  1. Masters degree in social work, counseling, or a related field; or B.A. and certification as a mental health professional (MHP).
  2. Current counselor registration, certification or license.
  3. A minimum of 2 years administrative or supervisory experience.
  4. Experience in program management, program development, or residential services.
  5. Experience working with chronically mentally ill adults, including those with dual diagnoses.
